American electronic payment association Nacha has declared the launch of its e-bill delivery service that uses Automated Clearing House (ACH) Network. This association began piloting its Electronic Billing Information Delivery Service (Ebids) in 2003 and recently organization has declared that this service began its operation and the first transaction has been carried out.

New service improves ACH Network and expands its capabilities by allowing customers to access e-bills via bank accounts and to distribute bills to financial institutions. Ebids also allows the users to increase revenue for banks, to reduce cost and the most important, to escape paper transactions that speed up the transactions.

"Ebids securely, safely, and simply accelerates the process of e-billing and payment... By eliminating paper and providing easy access to bill information, Ebids is a win-win-win: for banks, consumers and businesses," commented Steve Ellis, Wells Fargo EVP and chair of Nacha's board of directors.
