Customers educated by Fiserv to use e-billing services

Fiserv eBILLPLACE.com Web site was recently updated by Fiserv Inc., a provider of information technology services to the financial services industry. The site is intended to assist consumers find answers to their questions about online banking and bill payment.

Previously consumer training sites were already introduced by CheckFree (News - Alert), now part of Fiserv. The initiative started since 1999. The sites were designed to support the financial services industry and answer consumer questions about online banking, electronic billing and payments.

The renewed site which was actually launched in 2005 now will offer more information to instruct customers on how to begin receiving and paying bills online at “bank and biller” Web sites.

Now eBILLPLACE Web site includes such options as an environmental savings calculator, cost and time savings calculator, bank and biller search capabilities, expert advice on security and a bill pay personality quiz where customers may leave their opinion on the e-billing system efficiency.
