[img_assist|nid=8060|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=99] Owing to a new payment system of Crandy “Call & Pay” now Europeans can send money to Africa using only their mobile telephones. This became possible due to a partnership with Mobile Money Cameroon S.A, the service provider in Cameroon and UBC, the depository bank. It is planned to launch the similar programs in 8 other countries in the region.

Thanks to the new technologies all the users of mobile phones can make money transfers without any prior registration. This operation can be conducted from either bank account or a rechargeable card. The operation is quite simple. So, the person who makes a transfer does it like a call, and the other person who receives that transfer gets an SMS informing about the transfer. After getting the latter one, the receiver should simply go to the nearest UBC of FIFFA branch to get the money.

Crandy telephone service that provides such  “Call & Pay” option allows making international mobile phone calls at a low price. All the payments are debited directly from the account in Crandy.

Thinking about its customers, the “cash in” system of Crandy has already set up its technical platform which allows the community to use P2P technology for Europe-based African customers.
