Recently in the various forum discussions one could meet the complains about LibertyReserve. On the Internet some people were claiming that their accounts seemed to be blocked. Or it’s better to say that they were semi-blocked, as the users could accept the money but were not able send anything from the account. Our reporter decided to check whether it was true or false. Having contacted several people from different countries we found that the system worked trouble-free and all the users were pleased. So, it means that the system hasn’t changes its policy an still doesn’t lock the accounts.

But we cannot ignore the claims though they are few in number. Such complains mean that system has some bugs. LR hasn’t commented the situation yet. However, here could be another reason – the neglect of the users themselves. They could infect their computers with some viruses or spywares. The latter ones can also the reason of the accounts hacked, the information about which can also be met online.

In view of the last events we strongly recommend the users to pay attention to section “Services”, which can help the users to avoid such incidents. So, the option “Block” will be helpful is the user finds that his or her LR account was hacked. This wizard will block the account and funds if one suspects that someone has access to it.
