All online customers of U.S. Bank are now able to avail of mobile banking services offered by the bank. The service allows individual consumers and small businesses to check balances, obtain transaction history, transfer money and find a U.S. Bank branch or ATM near them.

The bank charges no fees for the service. Customers may be charged for the Internet usage depending on the carrier that provides them with mobile connection and on their personal fee scheme.

Further upgrades to be applied to the service include the ability to pay bills via U.S. Bank Internet Bill Pay and the introduction of text-message-based alerts and services.

Mobile banking services provided by U.S. Bank are available with all major cellular communications carriers allowing Internet access.

Logging into their accounts via mobile phone, consumers enter their personal ID and password the same they use with their Internet banking account.
