Banking hindered in Ireland

[img_assist|nid=8274|title=|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=66]According to a survey conducted in Ireland over 60% of Irish consumers do not have credit cards and 10% have no bank account. The situation is attributed to such factors as identity theft incidents, income levels, cultural and ethnic aspects and others. 17% of population aged 18 have no current account, as for life insurance, it is actual only with a third of the population. Credit union accounts are held by 43% of customers.

The study shows that 37% of Irish customers find it difficult to settle their bills and other credit commitments. In those cases when people are divorced or separated the number is even more deplorable and exceeds 60% point.

13% of the general population encountered problems connected to financial operations within last five years. People aged 21 to 35 who had such difficulties constitute 20%.
