A recent study commissioned by the largest payment processor, PayPal, shows that over 50 percent of the parents polled are going to wait for sales before purchasing back-to-school goods for their children. In a move to help parents and their kids find items fitting their budgets PayPal introduced back-to-school Web site with the season’s hottest deals and styles.

Now with PayPal accounts parents can receive discounts, cash-back offers and other promotions at some of the most popular sites on the Web, such as American Eagle, eBags, eBay, Guess, OfficeMax and Shoebuy.com.

The survey which was held by ACNielsen revealed some discrepancies between parents and students. 4/5 of parents prefer to decide themselves on what to purchase for their children while 62% of youngsters expressed their disagreement with the decisions of their families.
