An account abroad is possible with Citi

A new premium personal banking and wealth management service called Citigold Global Banking is introduced by Citi. The service will be available exclusively to Citigold clients around the world.

With Citigold Global Banking members will be able to open bank accounts in a country they are moving to; instantly transfer funds between Citi accounts from one country to another; open a credit card account in a destination country, with immediate access to credit upon arrival; and dial one number from anywhere in the world to reach a Citi customer service representative.

“The number of people travelling or relocating outside their home countries for business or pleasure, managing a sophisticated investment portfolio or studying abroad is growing rapidly,” said Maura Markus, Head of International Retail Banking for Citi. “Our new Citigold Global Banking offering not only simplifies these customers’ banking experience wherever they are or want to be, but also further strengthens our ability to anticipate and meet the needs of this fast-growing customer segment.”
