The leader of Asian e-commerce market, Chinese company Alibaba.com, has announced about its partnership with Intel Corp in order to provide E-commerce PCs especially for small-to-medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in China.

It is not the first partnership of the company during last weeks. So, in the beginning of this month Alibaba has joined  Indian Infomedia Ltd in view to create online sourcing in India. Earlier in April the affiliate of Alibaba Alipay has partnered with Amazon.cn in order to support its online payment system.

According to some data there are about 42 mln SMEs in the country, and only a minor part of them is providing just some E-commerce services, but not all of them, unfortunately.

"Alibaba sees great potential in this market," says Alibaba Chief executive, Wei Zhe. Also it is known from the reports that Alibaba and Intel plan to select local PC makers to manufacture PCs where they will download Alibaba's new E-commerce platform. As for another party Intel company, it will supply Internet security and services based on its chip platform. These applications are expected to be issued this year.
