Samsung spits in the face of Apple with the launch of exact clone of Smart Cover

Samsung decided not just to tease but to irritate Apple with the launch of a precise clone of the Cupertino’s Smart Cover for iPads. For its Galaxy Tab 10.1 the South Korean firm started selling absolutely similar covers with even similar name “Smart Case.”

Officially Samsung has no relation to the manufacturing of the covers, as it is made by Anymode Corp. Yet, the manufacturer has been a key supplier of components for Samsung Electronics. Some even believe it may be a subsidiary of Samsung. Moreover, Samsung certified these covers for its tablet computers and started selling them in its stores across South Korea.

The cover clones everything from Apple’s Smart Cover starting from folding function and magnets ending with color scheme and material.
