Apple iPad has 53 times more share of web browsing than other tablets

According to the stats provided by Net Applications the iPad occupies 1% of all Web browsing. While it may appear not too much, it is quite contrary when compared to its closes competitors.

While the iPad accounts for 0.92% of all web browsing, the Android-based Samsung Galaxy Tab clocks in at a meager 0.018%, the Motorola Xoom at 0.012%, and the BlackBerry Playbook at 0.003%.

"In other words, the iPad has 53 times the usage share of its nearest competitor," says Net Applications, which estimates browser and operating system usage by tracking a global network of more than 40,000 websites.
