Apple develops T-Mobile 3G enabled iPhone

Rumor from Boy Genius Report last week said that Apple is preparing a T-Mobile USA compatible iPhone. Pictures of the device were posted on the website of a hi-tech blog. It is reported that the iPhone will run a test version of the iOS and will be powered by Apple's A5 dual-core processor.

Since the termination of its exclusive agreement with AT&T, it is not surprising that Apple wants to expand to other carriers.

However, some observers note that it is somewhat strange to see a T-Mobile iPhone after AT&T announced its plans to acquire T-Mobile USA for $39 billion.

AT&T has already said it plans to repurpose T-Mobile's 3G airwaves for 4G service.

Still, potential T-Mobile iPhone owners probably wouldn't have to worry about replacing their phones as other 3G T-Mobile users would.
