Google Nexus S becomes NFC payments terminal with new Charge Anywhere software

Charge Anywhere has announced launch of its new software that turns Google Nexus S into NFC payments terminal.

Owing to the new system the owners of the Android-based mobile device can process credit card, cheque and ACH payments in the field. it was said that the latest update ensures acceptance of MasterCard PayPass and Visa Blink contactless payments. The company says that the system will be extended to other smartphones as they gain NFC technology.

"The Charge Anywhere payment platform has always stayed ahead of the payment technology curve and by adding NFC payments ensures that our partnering financial institutions, mobile network operators and distributors always have the most competitive advantage in delivering secure payment technology," said Paul Sabella, CEO of Charge Anywhere.
