PayPal announces the names of 10 candidates for $100, 000 prize

 Last week an online payment system PayPal has announced the names of 10 finalists in their PayPal X Developer Challenge. According to Naveed Anwar, senior director of PayPal’s Developer Network they have received hundreds of awesome submissions to their Developer Challenge. 

PayPal selects the most innovative and creative apps and services using PayPal’s APIs that also address industry and society needs. The main prize is $100,000.

Among the top 10 finalists are the following services: 

1. BetmeBig;
2. iConcessionStand;
3. Kabbage;
4. Kachingle;
5. LendFriend;
6. OrderMapper;
7. RFinity;
8. SellAround;
9. ShareABill;
10. SmartMarket.

The winner will be announced on October 26-27 at Moscone West (San Francisco) at the PayPal Developers Conference Innovate 2010.
