Citi offers super bonuses for frequent flyers with new PremierMiles Credit Cards

Citibank has announced a launch of new bonus system for frequent flyers. Citi has issued new credit cards called the Citibank PremierMiles Credit Card, offering air travelers to earn mileage points by flying on more than 50 domestic and international airlines. Previously the flyers could earn those mileage points by flying on one and the same airline.

It was said that with PremierMiles Credit Cards the air travelers get a superior earn rate of 10 PremierMiles per Rs 100 on all airline spends and a preferential interest rate.  

N Rajashekaran, Citi India Country Business Manager, Global Consumer Group has also added that all cardholders will get 5,000 PremierMiles as a first-year activation bonus. Besides the card members will receive 2.5 PremierMiles for every Rs 100 spent for non-airline purchases and a 2,500 PremierMiles bonus for spending of Rs 4 lakh in a year. The annual fee will be Rs 5,000.
