StarCraft 2 from torrents: the best way to get infected with Trojan

This week, Starcraft 2 was released at the large recommended retail price of £45.

It’s supposed that a lot of games sites are to become mad at this, though usually retailers are selling Blizzard's strategy game at £10 less than RRP.

However, as warns security company Webroot representative Andrew Bailey, gamers should be cautious as some Starcraft 2 torrents appear to "bring along a side dish of malware.” One of the examples is supposedly a custom game launcher, that drops the Zbot keylogger Trojan.

Despite the piracy, Blizzard will make a killing from SC2. It is expected to sell 3m copies this week and 7m by the end of the year.
