Citi received 13 Euromoney Awards, CEO was named Banker of the Year

Last week Citi, one of the leading global financial services company, running business in more than 140 countries, has announced about its brilliant success on the annual ceremony Euromoney Awards for Excellence.  This award is one of the most respected awards in the financial services industry and is assigned for 19 years already.

According to CEO of the company Vikram Pandit, Citi has received 13 major product and regional awards including the following: Best investment Bank in the Caribbean, Best Investment Bank in India, Best Cash Management House in Africa, Best Cash Management House in Asia, Best Cash Management House in Central and Eastern Europe, Best Cash Management House in Latin America, Best Cash Management House in North America, Best Debt House in Colombia, Best Debt House in Mexico, Best Equity House in Hong Kong, Best Equity House in the Middle East.

One of the main awards of Citi was an award for the Best Global Transaction Banking House assigned for its Global Transaction Services business carried out in more than 100 countries worldwide. According to official statements Citi Global Transaction Services processes over $3 trillion in worldwide transactions daily, serving 96% of the world’s Fortune 500 companies.

And finally, the 13th award was assigned to Vikram Pandit, Chief Executive Officer of Citigroup, who was named Banker of the Year.
