No more pirated American music and films from foreign websites!

Following the US businesses estimation that revealed businesses lose billions of dollars each year to piracy and counterfeiting of items, including films, music and consumer goods, Vice President Joe Biden announced Tuesday, the US plans to target foreign websites in anti-piracy push.

Moreover, US businesses also accused the illegal trade of hundreds of thousands of lost US jobs.

So, the US will go after foreign websites that pirate American music and movies as part of a new strategy to stop sales of counterfeit and pirated goods within the country and abroad.

US computer and video game producers also cheered the promise of tougher enforcement.

The National Association of Manufacturers convinced the administration to focus especially on China, which it has called "ground zero" for piracy and counterfeiting.

Interestingly, the US Trade Representative's office has been fighting for years targeting to close websites in Russia, China and other countries that sell pirated American music and films.
