First Data becomes an approved supplier of payment services in UK

First Data Corporation has got a green light to deliver to card and payment services to UK public sector, being awarded approved supplier status under the new Payment Card Solutions & Associated Services framework agreement (GPC3).

In compliance with GPC3 agreement, awarded by Buying Solutions, an executive agency of the Office of Government Commerce, public sector bodies can now get access to valuable commercial card management technology. This technology offers them to:

• streamline back office processes

• gain greater visibility and control of costs and

• save time through automation of cost coding and VAT processing

The solution can be fully integrated with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, enabling UK public sector organizations to optimize the efficiency of their purchasing and expense processes. The provision of this service via a hosted-application service provider model also makes it quick and cost effective to implement.
