How Battle.net gamers communicate with friends on Facebook

Battle.net gaming service is supposed to be integrated with Facebook, according to Blizzard Entertainment statement. That is a move to improve the social side of the gaming company's online platform.

This new capability will make it easier for Facebook subscribers to communicate with friends on Battle.net. Moreover they play StarCraft II and future Blizzard Entertainment games together.

At first, "StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty" players will be enabled to add Blizzard other gamers who are friends on Facebook to their Battle.net friends lists.

The new Facebook integration with Battle.net will be piloted later via the ongoing "StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty" beta test and will be rolled out to every player when the game ships on July 27.

Blizzard will unveil more detailed information about other Facebook-related features on Battle.net a little bit later.
