Genius Funds has: downgraded status, live chat and increasing ban plague

In light of the latest media reports along with users’ complaints and website inaccessibility HYIP monitors decided to downgrade the online investment project Genius Funds to “Problem” status.

While most optimistic enthusiast of the project are fully satisfied with those obscure and general explanations of the company stuff more realistic investors along with critics know that the game is likely over.

Here is what one such ‘pessimist’ writes:

And while many advocates of Genius Funds crack down on Ecommerce-Journal with negative comments related to that we are exaggerating the issue, the truth is that we just report what is being discussed and said on the Internet. We are also very hopeful that all the affected customers will return their investments and maybe even their profits.

Ecommerce-Journal would also like to update and amend the information on where in Canada Genius Funds was barred from trading activity. Those four provinces where the regulators have banned the company’s activity to date include British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and New Brunswick.

I think it is not technical problem. Because to repair it wont take such a long time. The problem is they are having a financial problem. Because they cannot settle there customers bills.

I feel like such a fool ... having invested more than $30,000.00 (US) in the last month or so. I only did the new investment because I had received a great return on $8,000.00 that was invested in 2009 with GF. Also, I brought in three other clients ... who will also lose their money, I suppose. Finally, I thought, this was a company with whom I could feel pride in association but now I feel robbed. I have only a slight glimmer of hope. Does anyone know if it's possible to get any money back (initial investment.) I would be happy just to have that. Thanks.

GF still has their support staff available for everyone. Reason is that their live chat support and phone support are separate third party applications that are not related to the hosting that the company previously used. The link to their live chat support is below. http://messenger.providesupport.com/messenger/geniusfunds.html We have all invested heavily in GF because they have been around for over 4 years thus giving them incredible amounts of credibility. The provinces of Canada and the warning issued for GF not being a registered company DOES not mean it is being investigated. Also the question is why would a scam company even take support questions if their operations have been frozen? They were also introducing another investment program which to me sounds silly to even make noise about it if you are going to shut down. EVERYONE needs to keep on bombarding their support staff until we get a time frame.

UPDATE

Spoke to customer support staff Nancy by phone through Skype and she has stated that they "will be back up and running by next Monday" Now this is good news but I believe like the last guy said, we should keep asking them questions and confirm about that Monday time frame!

what is the number u contacted them on or the processs so we can contact them as well. to put more pressure on them. does anybody know, if there servers are down will that effect them being able to process payments to us. and once the site is back up if it happens then they should be able to process our payments right???
