HP laptops are too bad in China

The group of over 100 Chinese consumers filed an official complaint against Hewlett-Packard over vicious laptops.

As a lawyer at Yingke Law Firm in Beijing Jiang Suhua reported the complaint focused on video cards which overheated and caused the laptop to malfunction.

He also said that about 170 Chinese sent the complaint on Friday to the country's quality control watchdog agency, General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine.

However, the problems dated back as far as 2007 in some cases. As HP stated it had a program in November 2007 to offer a free repair for customers with faulty HP notebooks. Nevertheless the company declined to comment the latest complaint.

Jiang said the group achieves the government to investigate and order HP to recall all vicious laptops in China.
