A popular online investment project NanoMoneyCorp.com was hit by the DDoS attack that resulted in problems with the site usage. Many visitors cannot access their accounts and those who manage to do it see huge amounts of money in their accounts.
The situation was clarified by the admin of NanoMoneyCorp.com on one of the Internet forums: “This time the attack is really enormous with a smart bots. So apparently not all the protectors can cope with such type of the attack. It looks that this attack cost a BIG sum of money to those who wanted it happen. And as we never received a letters from the attackers I can suggest that this one was organized and sponsored by a bunch of our competitors.”
Explaining the problem with the account access he adds: “Please don't panic! You would not be able to change ANY info. You can probably see other's accounts. But it is only a cache. There are too many bots on the site and system can cope with them. So some faults may be possible. Still it is only a visionary info.
“But things would be fine soon, believe me. I would never write anything there if we were going to run away with our investor's money. None but administration can change any account data and steal your money as well. There is nothing to be worry about. We will come to normal work back soon.”
While the problem concerns the investors they seem to feel comfortable about their finances expressing their trust into the business of NanoMoneyCorp.com. The company expects the glitch caused by the attack will be repaired soon.
He further says: “You have to understand that due to attack you may experience some problems of that type. The bot filtering system can count you a bot sometimes. Unfortunately this is a common thing. The aim of any DDOS attack is to cause troubles not to the site's owner but to it's users. So just think who can win in that situation? The only thing I have told before and will tell now, we are working really hard to make everything work the way it should. And none of your investments would be affected by that attack.”
