Citi presents new Citi Mobile app for iPhone

Millions of Citi’s US credit card customers are now enabled to  manage their card accounts trough the downloadable Citi Mobile appfor the iPhone device.

The new application can now be available free on the Apple App Store and on iTunes. Credit card customers can simply download Citi Mobile and sign on using the same User ID and Password they use to access their accounts online at CitiCards.com.

Mobile access to their account information lets Citi credit card customers manage their spending more wisely.  Meanwhile, credit card holders can quickly check account balances and available credit at any time with just a tap of the screen.

Citi Mobile also provides details on recent transactions, as well as the date on which the next payment is due, which can help prevent the accrual of fees from inadvertently late or missed payments.

Thes new feature enhances an iPhone application launched by Citibank last year for its retail banking customers.

Citibank's iPhone App appeared to be one of the first mobile banking apps offered by a major US Bank as an application specifically designed for the iPhone.
