Intrix Technology, Inc., technology provider in the business-to-business electronic payment processing software space, announced the release of a new version of their Electronic Invoice and Bill Presentment application, TranScend Paper™.
TranScend Paper is a web-based electronic payment processing system that allows businesses to send their customers a link to electronic invoices via email, and to receive and process payments online.
Mark Passifione President of Intrix sais: "The customer gets an email with a link to our secure portal. They click on the link and have access to their current invoice, statement, or bill. They can pay for their bill right then with a credit card, purchase card, or electronic check. For the biller, TranScend Paper makes true straight through processing possible."
The latest version of TranScend Paper includes a "single sign on" option that allows billers to leverage their customers' existing intranet passwords to access their invoices and pay online.
Norman Hayes, VP of Marketing sais: "Electronic Invoicing is one of the last sure fire ways to inject a serious cash savings into a business, but businesses must make the system easy for their customers to use. With a single sign on option, TranScend Paper helps eliminate one of the barriers to use. As a result, speeding collection of the company's money has never been easier."
TranScend Paper is a SaaS solution that is hosted by Intrix. The system takes an electronic file that is already being produced by most businesses' in-house accounting systems and creates an electronic bill, statement, or invoice for presentment to customers. The system also allows for payment of undisputed portions of an invoice while initiating an electronic dispute resolution process for those companies that allow their customers to "short pay" an invoice.
"One of the most popular features of TranScend Paper is its ability to allow buyers to make a partial payment on undisputed line items while any issues are being resolved," adds Passifone. "Companies like that they get some money for the invoice right away."
