H1N1 vaccination results for some in identity theft

According to a recent report from Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) fraudulent emails are being sent encouraging the recipient to register online with the CDC in order to get the swine flu H1N1 vaccine. So, when user clicks on the link, malicious code can be installed on the computer.

That’s why authorities are warning residents of a phishing scam that asks residents to create a profile online for the state H1N1 vaccination registration program.

These spam emails tell the recipient to visit the cdc.gov website explaining that every adult is required to complete a vaccination profile to be used as a registering system for people both vaccinated and not yet vaccinated. It includes a hyperlink to create the personal profile.

Moreover, the CDC has no s registration program, while some New Jersey county and municipal health departments have an H1N1 vaccine registration process online.
