PayPal launches new Send Money app for Facebook users

PayPal director of product marketing Heinz Waelchli posted Thursday the company launched a new Send Money application making sending money even easier.

So, from now Facebook users are enabled to send money using PayPal, one of the fastest and easiest ways, to just about anyone. The only thing a person need is the acceptors email address.

  Send Money works as following. User visits Facebook’s send money application page and clicks on the “Get Started” button to install the application. Next he’s required to fill in the fields in the form and click the “Continue to PayPal” button, and he’ll taken to the PayPal site to log-in. Then user has to choose a method of payment. Meantime there is an ability to enter a personal message. The recipient will be notified by email right away. The receiver can then log-in to PayPal to claim the money or quickly sign up for a new account.

 PayPal expects new application will help to make it easier for its users to send money to friends and family.
