Schwarzenegger severes anti-paparazzi law

As it became known, Sunday, Arnold Schwarzenegger, being a California Governor, has signed an amendment to anti-paparazzi law, aiming to make it easier to sue media outlets that use photos that invade celebrities' privacy.

Actually, the Governor signed an amendment to a decade-old law that legalizes fines against paparazzi who illegally or offensively manage to take photos or recordings.

The amendment allows lawsuits against media outlets that pay for and make first use of material they knew was improperly obtained.

Tabloid magazines, TV shows and Internet sites sometimes pay millions for star fodder.
