CO-OP unites its efforts with Online Resources to supply online banking

Monday, Online Resources Corporation, a leading provider of online financial services, and CO-OP Financial Services, US largest credit union service organization, announced the set up a reseller agreement for Internet banking, bill payment and other online services under the name of Online Resources’ UniteSM Financial Services Suite.

Online Resources will be available over CO-OP’s Next Generation Network (NGN) technology platform, enabling CO-OP’s more than 1,200 shared branch clients to swiftly and seamlessly implement a breadth of new, cost-effective online services.

The addition to the NGN network provides CO-OP shared branch clients with best-in-suite online banking and billpay services, which are critical to staying competitive, considers Carroll Beach, President/COO of CO-OP Shared Branching. He also believes Online Resources high quality service with outstanding member support to become a perfect complement to the network.

This alliance will let CO-OP’s customers can leverage their NGN investment to access online services that are competitive with the largest financial institutions’ services. Credit unions can get benefits from bundling transaction volumes and lowering their overall cost of operations.
