ProPay launches new shopping cart for more secured online payments

A known provider of online payment data security applications ProPay Inc. has announced the launch of new shopping carts allowing the retailers to keep information on their customer’s payment accounts outside their own infrastructure. According to developers the new application called the ProPay CartLite shopping cart was developed especially for small, start-up retailers and costs approximately $40 per year and per-transaction fees depending on volume.

According to Bryce Thacker, executive vice president of sales and marketing of ProPay Inc. the new product has a great variety of security features such as complete data encryption, tokenization of encrypted data, and a data capture method owing to which the consumers can enter their payment data directly to ProPay’s secure servers using special windows on the retailer’s site.
