First Data appoints a new manager for its German operations

First Data Corp., a provider of electronic commerce and payment processing services, announced the appointment of Stephan Becker to the position of managing director at First Data Deutschland. Becker’s duties will include delivering First Data Deutschland's broad range of payment solutions to customers across Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Becker joins the company with a 20 years experience in the cards and payments, technology and financial services sectors. Previously he worked as a CEO of Pluscard, a German-based credit card processor, a leader of global accounts at MasterCard Europe, and senior roles at EUFISERV in Belgium and the German IT and processing centre Datenverarbeitungsgesellschaft mbH (dvg).
