Fundtech adds two European banks to its transaction banking system
As it became known today, Fundtech has signed National Bank of Greece and another unnamed European financial institution to its transaction banking system, Global Cashplus, which offers a breadth of cash and liquidity management features. A Web 2.0 interface enables users to customize portals while its multi-country capabilities provide corporate clients with the cross-border transactions and working capital visibility they require.

Initially, Fundtech pushed the technology in Asia Pacific but says it is now also targeting the European market, highlighting its ability to help corporate clients manage Sepa credit transfers and direct debits.

"Global Cashplus is perfectly suited for the European market because cross-border commerce is a way of life for companies of all sizes. With Global Cashplus, banks can help their corporate customers optimise funds usage across their complex network of account and credit facilities in multiple countries, and ultimately provide effective working capital management via integrated cross-border cash and liquidity management services," says Mark Wilson, MD, European business, Fundtech.
