Ukash partners with PokerStars to enable cash payments for online games
A known e-commerce payment solution Ukash has declared the introduction of the Ukash payment method onto PokerStars.com, the world’s largest poker site with millions of members worldwide. This deal with PokerStars is part of Ukash’s continued effort to bring easy, controlled and anonymous online cash payments to anyone from anywhere in the world.

This partnership will allow millions of PokerStars.com visitors to make online payments for their games using cash instead of credit or debit cards. Poker players can benefit from the anonymity and added security of not needing to input their financial details online; reducing the risk of card fraud and identity theft.

With rising consumer sensitivity around anonymity and sharing personal financial information on poker and other gaming and entertainment sites, the Ukash e-cash solution will open online gaming to millions of digitally excluded customers without credit or debit cards, as well as those who simply prefer to use cash.

Mark Chirnside, chief executive officer, Ukash said: “We are excited about this new partnership with PokerStars, which shows the value and demand for the Ukash proposition, allowing online merchants to offer a solution that reduces the risk of credit card fraud on their sites as well as opening their services up to a broader cash consumer.”
