Scottrade launches the first brokerage office in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho
Scottrade, a branch-supported online investment firm,, announced the launch of a new first brokerage office in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho on Monday, Aug. 31. The new office will be in the Northwest Place Shopping Center at 1450 Northwest Blvd.

“The new Coeur d’Alene office will be a convenient location for investors in the growing North Idaho area,” said Scottrade Branch manager Charles Selbe, who previously served Northern Idaho customers as a broker in the Spokane Scottrade office. “Investors can learn how to make better-informed decisions by visiting the office to speak with an associate or attend a free branch seminar.”

Scottrade is the online investment firm with the largest branch network in the country. The firm offers a full line of investment products and market research tools to help self-directed investors make their own investing decisions. Though Scottrade does not provide advice, brokers are available at branch offices to answer account-related questions, provide customer service and give tutorials on Scottrade’s online trading services.

“We have always focused on providing exceptional customer service and feel it is important to have branch offices where our customers live and work,” said Rodger Riney, Scottrade Founder and CEO. “While most of our customers trade online, our branch network of more than 425 local offices enables us to provide a better customer experience for self-directed investors.”
