French people are working the least hours in the world

According to a new survey of 73 cities around the world conducted by the Swiss bank UBS, French people are working least, while Cairo and Seoul citizens spend most hours at work. 

Thus, in Lyon people spend at work about 1,582 hours per year and in Paris - 1,594, compared to an average amount of 1,902 in the surveyed cities. At the same time, in Cairo people worked 2,373 hours, while in Seoul they worked 2,312 hours.

The richest employees are in New York and Zurich, who can earn the same amount of money, the workers in Mumbai get for 20 nine-hour days. So, Copenhagen, Zurich, Geneva and New York became the cities with the highest gross salaries. 

As for the most expensive cities, London fell from the top of the list to the 21st position as the pound lost ground. So, the first place is now occupied by Oslo, that is currently the most expensive city, followed by Zurich, Copenhagen, Geneva and Tokyo. In this rating New York is No. 7.
