HPS launches a program to allow customers to buy wireless services via POS

The 5th US largest payments processor, Heartland Payment Systems, presented its new ePIN It! Program, providing with wireless and long-distance minutes.

The new program can be downloaded directly to business owners’ point-of-sale (POS) terminals and allow customers to purchase more than 110 offerings from most major wireless carriers. ePIN It! also includes domestic and international long-distance products.

ePIN It! program operates on VeriFone Vx500 series and Omni 3740/3750 terminals, and also on Radiant POS systems.

ePIN It! works in the following way: when consumers are carrying out minute allotments purchase, PINs are printed on receipts generated from the POS terminals. Thereafter, customers can quickly and conveniently access their minutes by calling a toll-free number directly from their phones and inputting their PINs.
