Users of iPhones and iPods can now download Intuit GoPayment from App Store
Intuit Inc., a maker of QuickBooks®, has made its Intuit® GoPayment available on App Store. With Intuit® GoPayment users can process credit card payments using iPhone and iPod touch. Thus, the application turns iPhone or iPod touch into an affordable and hassle-free credit card terminal. Users can download the software for free.

As noted in the official statement GoPayment helps business owners get paid faster and improve cash flow by processing customer credit card payments as soon as they complete a job. Businesses can process credit cards, view past charges and send customers electronic receipts via e-mail or text message.

“More and more entrepreneurs are relying on their iPhone or iPod touch to manage their business,” said Chuck Harris, general manager of Intuit’s Payment Solutions. “With GoPayment this now includes getting paid. And they get the peace of mind knowing that GoPayment – both the App and the actual merchant account – come from Intuit, a company that has helped millions of people manage their finances for more than 25 years.”
