Wednesday, UpClick, the free payment processing solution for software companies, announced that Avanquest Software selected to expand its usage of the UpClick platform by leveraging it for traffic generated through email marketing and search campaigns.
Avanquest owns one of the most extensive software catalogs in the world with more than 1,500 titles that it promotes to consumers through the retail, online and direct sales channels.
By choosing to use UpClick’s unique platform for its processing, Avanquest is to get advantages in three distinct areas:
1. Free Online Payment Processing – UpClick absorbs processing fees from more than 40 payment methods worldwide including PayPal and debit and credit cards such as VISA, MasterCard, Solo, and Switch.
2. Additional revenue from cross-sells – UpClick upholds free processing by cross-selling products from its extensive network of partners after a customer completes the online checkout process.
3. Additional income from network exposure – As an UpClick partner, Avanquest has the option to place its products into the UpClick network. Products within the network can generate revenue for Avanquest in two ways: they are eligible to be used for cross-selling and may also be promoted by UpClick’s affiliate partners.
Additionally, Avanquest is targeting to expand the relationship with UpClick, citing the platform’s features and functionality. Thus, for instance, UpClick’s ability to easily accommodate customers from around the world, by generating and displaying a page in that customer’s local language and currency, appeared to be very important to Avanquest, based in France and has a strong presence in North America, Europe, and Asia.
