MoneyGram introduces more currencies to work with
MoneyGram International, a known money remittance service has announced its expansion of multi-currency payout in Romania owing to which the customers may choose from euros, local lei or U.S. dollars to send money.

Romania is a TU country and earlier it was allowed to send/receive only euros. However MoneyGram decided to go further and added a local currency and U.S. dollar to the list of currencies.

"Romania is an important growth market and one of MoneyGram's largest countries in terms of transactions received," said John Hempsey, head of MoneyGram International Limited. "With more than 2 million Romanian immigrants living and working in Spain, Italy, the United States and the United Kingdom, there is a growing demand for new payout options that can help Romanians both better manage their financial needs and minimize currency conversion fees."
