Russia and Ukraine joined the USA in its war against online gambling
It seems that online gambling becomes a real thorn in the flesh of governmental agencies. So, following the US authorities a lot of countries started banning this industry. So, these days it became known that one of the biggest online betting firm Marathonbet has left the Russian market, as well as the Ukrainian one.

According to the company they have ceased accepting bets in Russian roubles and Ukrainian hryvnas due to the newly released law prohibiting gambling industry. Currently the service accepts only Belorussian roubles that can be deposited through a known online payment processor WebMoney.

Please note that having banned online gambling industry the USA had to pay large fines later-on. Even today the country is constantly being charged, especially after the EU commission has found that the actions of the US authorities violated the law.
