High turnover has been made by two Azerbaijan payment systems

The turnover of Azerbaijan’s payment systems AZIPS and XOHKS totaled to $95.867 billion during the period from January to June in 2009 which was $95.867 billion in 2008.

According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, total number of members of the above-listed domestic payment systems equaled to 98 organizations in June of 2009. 

509,000 payments have been made to constitute AZN 5.9 billion revenue of AZIPS and XOHKS for June of 2009, while 2.526 million payments have been made to constitute AZN 37.054 billion turnover for January-June period. Total revenue of AZIPS and XOHKS reached AZN 76.79 billion on 2.398 million payment transactions in 2008.
