EasyLink Services tapped for EDI Solutions

EasyLink Services International Corp. has announced that a leading education technology and publishing company has expanded its Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions with the company to manage, track and process a large volume of business logistic and purchase order transactions. Kevin Maloney, senior vice president, global sales and marketing of EasyLink in a statement: "The customer, a predominate leader in education technology, is benefiting from EasyLink's ability to streamline operations and manage cost. In addition, they recognize EasyLink's inexhaustible customer service.” Maloney said that the company’s customers are realizing more applications for EasyLink's reliable VAN network, as well as the efficient process management and trading enablement tools, which ultimately fortify their revenue by saving time and errors. Describing EDI solutions, the company officials said that the company’s EDI Value Added Network is the messaging platform companies have depended upon for years. Now the industry leader in education technology and publishing has increased their reliance on electronic data interchange solutions, and EasyLink answers this need, helping their businesses run more efficiently, officials said. The company is investigating the use of EasyLink's OnDemand Messaging services for additional efficiencies in their supply chain for non-EDI complaint customers, officials said. EasyLink Services International Corporation offers a comprehensive portfolio of "any to any" business messaging and transaction services that the company claims can bridge the most challenging technology gaps while creating significant cost efficiencies across an organization.
