iPhones users are angry with voicemail problems at AT&T
The late delivery of voicemail messages is making AT&T and iPhone customers angry who in some cases could not check their voice message even after several days it had been recorded.

"I have had this happen on a number of occasions," writes one AT&T customer who further states that he looks forward to the iPhone being available through Verizon in the nearest future. Similar view has been expressed by another customer who wrote: "AT&T's Voice mail on iPhone 3G is sometimes slower than snail mail."

Despite the awareness of AT&T about the situation, the company has not offered any solution to the problem. The only solution that seems to succeed is manual checking of voice messages which sometimes fails in cases when messages remain in limbo.

While nothing is known about the number of customers affected by the problem, AT&T can be said to have it for a while from the words of one user who writes: "I can tell you from experience; this has been a problem since the beginning. I had the original iPhone and would get delayed voicemails from days before, seriously affecting work and personal issues. It's just one of the reasons I left AT&T to go to Verizon.”

The late delivery of voice messages is the next mishap involving AT&T, an exclusive iPhone carrier in the U.S, which has been previously criticized for a number of issues including the pricing, coverage, and other issues by customers. The company has also been snubbed by Apple for delays in adopting the tethering and multimedia messaging features included with the new iPhone 3GS and iPhone OS 3.0.
