Heartland announces improved campus POS system
A largest US payment processor Heartland Payment Systems announced that its Campus SolutionsSM division has integrated its point-of-sale software with FoodPro®, a full-service food production, planning and control system offered by Aurora Information Systems. Now campuses can tie their back-end menu management and nutritional information to customer purchasing data for more effective planning and control of their dining operations.

“This integration gives campus administrators valuable business intelligence,” said Fred Emery, vice president and general manager, Heartland Campus Solutions. “This enhanced information enables more accurate and timely purchasing; the reduction of waste and associated costs; the ability to boost revenue by selling more of the most popular menu items; and better customer satisfaction through consistent quality and better service. Overall, it provides the framework for a more productive operation.”

Using Heartland’s suite of campus products which include the multi-functional Campus OneCard colleges and universities are able to enhance convenience for their communities by providing a quick, flexible payment method for dining and other key services, as well as access control and more.
