Mobile users like Apple iPhone more than Blackberry
Online survey, conducted from May 19 to June 8 by market researcher Crowd Science, revealed that only 14% of non-Blackberry users are intended to switch to that family of devices. While 40% of smartphone users, non-owners of iPhone, said they would switch to Apple device for their next purchase. Those figures indicate increasing competition between two smartphone leaders. Seemingly, Apple’s position is better to score impressive gains.

80% of RIM’s (Research in Motion) recent new customers came from consumers and small business, rather than its traditional base in large enterprises. This figure indicates that Blackberry has saturated large businesses. The only source of significant growth for the company is the consumer market. The little growth in Blackberry’s historically important market of large businesses is possible if there are really few enterprises which don’t have its devices and want to purchase them.

But it doesn’t indicate RIM’s fall. The company last week reported a 33% increase in quarterly profits. 3.8 million new subscribers were added. Apple is appeared to gain more after its release of iPhone 3GS.
