74% of investors want guarantees

According to the survey, conducted by Boston Financial Research Corp. in May and scheduled for release in July, investors are now seeking for the investments that provide with guarantees of returning for retirement. 

Thus, about 74% of 1,500 respondents claims a guarantee was “very” or “extremely” important in choosing an investment. Current trend probably appeared to be a result of the 25% drop in asset values that survey participants reported experiencing last year. 

Another research of 1,200 advisers, that was also conducted in May, reflected 94% of respondents reported that clients were asking about guarantees.
