F-Secure introduces data protection for Windows Mobile devices
Protecting smartphones against loss and infection by mobile malware is more important than ever. More and more people and businesses are using sophisticated smartphones where they keep highly confidential messages and pictures, banking details, contact information, e-mails and business projects. Tens of millions of mobile phones were lost or stolen in 2008, with the UK alone reporting 10,000 stolen every month.

Internet security firm, F-Secure, today presented an improved version of its leading smartphone Secure Solution for Windows Mobile that includes advanced anti-theft functionality with easy remote locking and wiping of confidential data in case it is lost or stolen.

With the help of F-Secure Mobile Security, smartphone users can enjoy the full potential of their devices, safeguarding data. It seamlessly combines real-time anti-virus and anti-spyware protection with a customizable firewall to make the phone completely safe.

Besides, the latest version of F-Secure Mobile Security 5 with anti-theft is available for Windows Mobile beginning on June 24, 2009, and is already available for S60 3rd and 5th edition smartphones through the F-Secure eStore, as well as F-Secure partners.
