Avangate launches new payment methods for European Countries

Avantage, full service provider of electronic software distribution and reseller management solutions for software vendors, announced the introduction of additional payment methods for European customers: DIRECTebanking.com or sofortuberweisung.de for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and The Netherlands and Carte Bleue for France. DirecteBanking.com - a bank transfer with instant notification - offers clear advantages for software vendors such as cost savings, optimization of payment processes, liquidity and risk management. Buyers profit from a payment service that is easy to use, secure and from faster delivery than with classic wire transfer. Carte Bleue ("Blue Card") is a major debit card payment scheme operating in France. Laurentiu Ghenciu, VP of Sales and Marketing for Avangate stated: “We are constantly adding payment methods to respond to buyers’ preferences and vendors’ requirements, following our strategy of providing localized services and solutions that ultimately help software vendors boost sales through increased customer satisfaction and better conversion rates. Introducing DIRECTebanking.com and Carte Bleue is a plus for vendors selling software in Europe as both types of payment methods are very popular in their corresponding countries.”
