Silver Tail named #2 in "Top Technology Companies to Watch"

Silver Tail Systems, Inc., leader in the fight against business logic abuse, became the second in the “Top Tech Companies to Watch in 2009” list by Bank Technology News (a SourceMedia publication, also publisher of American Banker). The companies on this year's version of the prestigious list include industry giants like MasterCard, FIS and Oracle, and "called out innovative startups with the potential to impact the financial services landscape." Silver Tail is mentioned for its "enterprise-class software product" that looks for behavior anomalies to detect and disrupt online fraud. Silver Tail founders, Laura Mather and Mike Eynon, were specially noted in the article, "When a pair like this decides to build a Website security product designed to detect and prevent fraud perpetrated via Website attacks, the market ought to take notice." Sherrick Murdoff, chief executive officer, Silver Tail Systems stated: "We are honored to be named to this list of impressive companies. This recognition follows our recent Best of Show win at FinovateStartup09, the selection by banking industry research firm Bradway Research as 'most likely to succeed' and shows the commitment and value that Silver Tail brings to the financial services industry. It's exciting to see the industry take notice of this emerging class of online fraud attacks called business logic abuse."
