PayPal grants prizes to Facebook and Twitter users for their good dads
AuctionBytes reports that PayPal is granting a total of $1,250 to five randomly chosen members who tell the online payment service why their father "is the best" using social networking sites. The program known as Shopping Dads Sweepstakes runs through June 21, 2009, and asks users to share stories about their father via Facebook or Twitter. PayPal will conduct a random drawing conducted at the end of the promotion period to award five Grand Prizes of $250 to be deposited into the winners' PayPal accounts.

In order to subscribe for the program a user needs to be a fan of the Facebook PayPal Shopping page. Users submit a post to the Facebook Discussions Board answering the question: "Got a great Dad? Tell us why he is the best."

Similarly users can join the Sweepstakes via Twitter. You just need to sign in and go to Twitter.com/PayPalShopping Twitter page and click "Follow." You must then post a public reply (or @reply) to the "PayPalShopping" twitter account answering the question: "Got a great Dad? Tell us why he is the best".
